  • Yoga for Women's Health

    Tuesday, 23rd April 2024

    A series of 8 workshops specifically tailored for women, to help proactively manage a range of symptoms through the whole female cycle, including menopause (which can last for 10-15 years, or longer). The workshops will focus on yoga practices, with time for discussion, reflection and information sharing. Partially funded by Sport England, the series of workshops cost £100.

    Contributions from @sam.welfordmidwife www.birthpositivemidwife.co.uk to discuss the latest developments for women’s health and Mandy Agar (www.admana.co.uk),local nutritional therapist, to consider how we can use nutrition to make a positive impact on our health through the changes we encounter.

  • Yin yoga with mindfityoga

    Join Becky for Yin Yoga 7.00pm to 8.30pm.

    Yin yoga is a slower-paced practice, with floor based poses held for longer. Yin targets the connective tissues, ligaments, joints and bones and can reduce physical tension, increase energy flow, circulation and flexibility as well as calming the mind. Each session will have a yoga nidra (a guided, effortless relaxation).

    Yin complements other exercise or yoga practice. Beginners are welcome and yoga mats and props are provided.
