Goathland Wellbeing was launched in June 2023, by a group of local residents, after realising they had something in common - they all had the skills and experience to bring a range of wellbeing services to the community. Residents and visitors can take advantage of the accessible facilities and free car parking of the Hut, to access the services locally and avoid having to travel further.
Joining the yoga, tai chi and regular library sessions already running, treatments including reiki, reflexology and a range of massages are now also available in the newly developed treatment rooms. Nutritional therapy, foot health, ear health, private midwife services and baby massage classes are also available, with some treatments available in your own home, as well as at the Hut. Pilates classes are also held weekly at the local village hall.
Looking after your own wellbeing often means taking time out to do something new and creative - if this is something which interests you, then check out the Art Club events led by local artist Louise Garrett and, new for 2024, regular flower arranging classes with Ann Gullon. If you want to be inspired, then perhaps call into one of the Craft Fairs held at the Hut during the year.
Check out the Goathland Wellbeing section of the website for more information and browse 'What's On At The Hut' for specific events.
Perhaps you would like something that's not yet on offer - please let us know by contacting us via the website or sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll see what we can do! Or maybe you are looking for a place to hold a wellbeing event? Take a look at the Hut facilities on the Home page and send in an enquiry.
We look forward to seeing you!
